Owner's description
We cater to family cottagers who desire a quiet, safe enviornment.
Approximately 60% of our guests are repeat cottagers; the remainder booked through
The Cottage Register, who we have been associated with for ten years.
Our cottage measures 960 square feet with a deck
facing the lake, which is 100 feet away. The cottage is fully and comfortably
furnished, and has a wheelchair accessible ramp. We are 9 km. south of Barry's
Bay and 9 km. north of Combermere . Our permanent residence is on the property.

Sleeping: -two bedrooms, each with a queen-size bed and a single bed
-a bed chesterfield in the living room
Bathroom: -four piece (sink, toilet, bathtub and shower)
Kitchen/Dining Area: -fully equipped with dishes, glassware, cooking
utensils, toaster, electric kettle, microwave oven, electric
stove, refrigerator and coffee maker.

-propane barbecue (we supply the propane)
Parking: 5 Vehicles
Heating: airtight woodstove (firewood provided) and electric baseboard heaters in each room
Waterfront
dock and swim raft, canoe, paddle boat, sand beach excellent for toddlers
Activities:
This is a quiet area for cottagers. You can fish, swim, hike, canoe, sun bathe, bird watch, cycle, hint wild mushrooms and participate in evening campfires (firewood provided). There are games and reading material available in the cottage as well as a DVD/VCR player and videos for kids and adults.
Within walking distance: Hiking trails, Wadsworth Lake (motor boats allowed), Polish Kaszuby Centre (Mass daily). Within a 10 km. radius you can visit Historic Wilno (1st Polish Canadian Settlement) museum; stand under the falls at Crooked Slide Park; take a tour at Madonna House then visit their shops and museum; shop for all your needs in Barry's Bay (two supermarkets, pharmacy, hardware store, LCBO and beer stores, restaurants, library, hospital, tennis court and playground (at waterfront), real estate offices plus other shops and businesses).
